Opening Day!

Ahhh. Finally opening day has come!! The St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets faced off on ESPN2 today as the Mets defeated the Cardinals 6-1. Tom Glavine was his usual dominant self, as he quieted the doubters who thought he was too old. Carlos Beltran had a nice game both with the bat and the glove, as he threw out David Eckstein at the plate in the middle-innings. The Mets' defensive was razor sharp and helped clinch the first game of the 2007 campaign.
