Jacque Jones to Marlins

UPDATE: Ken Rosenthal reports that the money changing hands has closed this deal. That's two trades that were cancelled at the last second, as earlier in the week, Kansas City acquired Milton Bradley, only to find out he had a quadriceps injury.

The Florida Marlins have acquired outfielder Jacque Jones from the Chicago Cubs for 23-year old Graham Taylor and $1,000,000. Florida has been looking for a center-fielder and Jacque will most likely be their starting center-fielder for the rest of the season. Taylor is having a wonderful season in A-ball. He's 8-2 with a 2.66 ERA. He looks to have exceptional control, only walking 5 batters in 101.2 IP, but that is only single-A.
