Glavine Declines Option
New York Mets lefty Tom Glavine declined his $13MM option tonight, giving him more time to decide what his future will hold. He might like to sign with the Braves or Nationals, and maybe even retire.
His agent explained that they would not rule-out the Washington Nationals, a team that Glavine has a great relationship with and would anchor a strengthening young staff. Would be nice to see Tom go back to Atlanta for one more year though, quite a scene that would be.
