Tigers Leaning Towards Letting Pudge Go


Danny Knobler of The Grand Rapids Press has made it clear that the Detroit Tigers are "unlikely to pick up Pudge's $13M option". I was starting to believe that $13M is quite a price tag for a .281 11HR 68RBI season, but than again it would cost the Tigers $3M just to let Pudge walk.

They were also news that they would attempt to bring Rodriguez back next year for a paycut, but I doubt he will part sides with Detroit's side.
