Angels send down Santana
Twenty four year old Ervin Santana was sent down today, a day after another terrible start against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, in which he allowed 14 hits and 7 earned runs. Santana had 16 wins last year, but this year has struggled, posting a record of 5-11 and a 6.22 ERA. Santana has had his woes lately, dropping his last four starts and compiling a 11.64 ERA in those starts. Catcher Mike Napoli was activated off of the DL and will take Santan's spot. Ervin will try to work out his problems at Triple-A Salt Lake City.
