Ichiro close to extension, Shows Why
Seattle outfielder Ichiro Suzuki and the Seattle Mariners are close to resigning the 34-year old outfielder to a 5-year $100M extension. He is currently hitting .359 with 5 HR, 39 RBI, and 23 SB's.
After hearing from the media about the potential extension, Suzuki went out with a 3-3 night including the All-Star's game first inside-the-park HR. With this performance, he won the 2007 All-Star Game MVP Award.
