Daisuke Stays Strong
Boston Red Sox right-hander Daisuke Matsuzaka came out against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and quickly put out any fire that was in Tampa's hearts as they were in amidst of a 8-game losing streak. Matsuzaka went 8 strong innings walking 1 and striking out 9 Devil Ray batters. His ERA is now 3.53, and his record is a strong 10-5. If I had to choose at this point, Daisuke would slightly pass Reggie Willits on the American League Rookie-of-the-Year voting.
