Angels trade Molina to NYY

Jose Molina was traded to the New York Yankees late last night in return for Jeff Kennard, a 23-year old righthanded relief pitcher. Molina has always been a defensive catcher, so the move doesn't hurt the Angels at all, especially with Jeff Mathis ready to step into the same role.

Kennard was 1-4 with a 2.73 ERA in Double-A ball.
