Hairston out of Arizona
Jerry Hairston Jr. was sent to the San Diego Padres for minor league pitcher Leo Rosales. Hairston has struggled this year, hitting .222, with 3 home runs and 16 rbi's. He can play all three outfield positions. Rosales, a 26-year-old right-hander, has been on the DL since June 7 with a broken bone in his hand. Before that, he was 1-1 with a 3.28 ERA and 14 saves for Triple-A Portland.
