Wheeler, Wigginton Trade spots
The Houston Astros have traded relief pitcher Dan Wheeler to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays for third baseman Ty Wigginton. Wigginton will play third base for the astros, who need someone "decent" to play there. Wigginton is hitting .275 with 16 home runs and 49 rbi's. Dan Wheeler was the closer for the Astros for part of the year, but was ousted by Brad Lidge when he started to struggle. Wheeler is 1-4 with a 5.07 ERA on the year. Both players are 29 years old.
