Angels' starter Kelvim Escobar will miss this afternoon's start due to shoulder inflammation. The good news is they found the spot that was hurting Kelvim, as he hasn't pitched well lately. There's always bad news however, and if the shoulder continues to be inflammed, the Angels chances of escaping the first round go down considerably.
Veteran starter Bartolo Colon will start in place of Escobar, and will try to prove why he should be the number 4 starter for the Angels in the postseason. Behind Lackey, Escobar, and Weaver, Colon will battle against front-runner Joe Saunders and Ervin Santana.
