The New York Mets lost again today to the Washington Nationals and lost yet another game in the National League East standings. New York is now only 2.5 games ahead of Philadelphia for the Eastern crown and have been playing bad baseball lately. Commiting 4 errors tonight, and 6 yesterday, the Metropolitans are playing bad ball all around.
Jose Reyes went 0-4 yet again and every pitcher put in the game, 6 in all, gave up at least 1 earned-run. They are sitting at 83-66 and on the verge of a 4-game losing streak.
