Injuries Aplenty During Crunch Time

A day after signing short-stop John McDonald to a multi-year deal, the Toronto Blue Jays lost the other piece of their infield as third-baseman Troy Glaus will undergo foot surgery sometime next week and will "hopefully" be ready for Spring Training '08. Troy finished the season amidst steroid-allegations and hit a mere .262 sending 20 HR and driving in 62.

Over in Atlanta, Braves 3B'man Chipper Jones is having more problems with his hand and has made it unknown if he will be ready by season's end, likely ending the switch-hitter's season.
