Old Fashioned Zito

Slowly but surely, Giants lefty Barry Zito is getting back to what he was in 2003 when he won the Cy Young. Barry is now 1-1 with a 2.00 ERA in his last 6 starts and has been getting more comfortable wearing San Francisco's orange and black.

People were bagging on Zito all year because of the hype that was put in his 7-year $121MM contract. He struggled trying to be the $18MM man, but now looks like he feels much more comfortable playing the role. Look for him to be much stronger next year and ace the staff consisting of young studs Matt Cain and Noah Lowry.
