To throw something new in here at Major League Ramblings, tonight's game of the day was the Cincinatti Reds taking on the Milwaukee Brewers. Milwaukee's first-baseman Prince Fielder broke the Brewers record with his 46th HR on the season as he led the Brew Crew past Kirk Saarloos and inched closer to the Cubs in the National League Central. The Cubs are now only 1 game ahead of Milwaukee and can definantly feel them breathing down their necks.
Short-stop J.J. Hardy also had a nice day going 2-4 with an RBI and a R. Starter Jeff Suppan went 6 1/3 giving up only 3 while striking out 2.
