Indians Clinch AL Central


The first team to clinch a playoff berth came this afternoon as the Cleveland Indians, behind Jake Westbrook and Grady Sizemore, defeated the Oakland Athletics 6-2 and won the division for the first time since 2001.

Later today, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim also look like they will close up the AL West as they are currently leading the Seattle Mariners 3-0.
