Yanks Almost Guaranteed To Exercise Abreu

Multiple reports have came in that believe the most likely case for both right-fielder Bobby Abreu and the New York Yankees is that Brian Cashman and company will exercise Abreu's $16MM option for next season.

The 6'1" Abreu is hitting .287 with 16HR, 94 RBI, and a .367 OBP. I'm sure many teams would sign Bobby to a 1-year $14M deal if he entered the market, but its very doubtful that it will occur.
