Hot topic thats been coming up in the inbox is Devil-Rays first-baseman Carlos Pena and what he will receive in the offseason after blowing up for a .274 37HR 101RBI season. Carlos' agent is the dreadful Scott Boras, so it might get tight, especially for a team of TBD's caliber, to sign Pena to a multi-year deal. On the bright side, it's Pena's first arbitration year, therefore there won't be any Gary Matthews Jr. deals being thrown out there. You can expect the D-Rays to ante up anywhere from $5-6MM for a one-year arbitration deal.
