Red Sox Interested in Kei

According to ProSportsDaily, the Boston Red Sox are interested in left-hander Kei Igawa. They feel fond of having three Japanese pitchers on their roster, and are going to attempt to acquire him from the rival Yankees.

Earlier in August, the San Diego Padres claimed Kei off waivers, but neither team was able to come up with a deal for the lefty. This shows that the Yankees still believe Igawa will turn things around.
