Barajas Placed on DL

The Philadelphia Phillies have added Rod Barajas to their already large DL-list. Rod was hitting .214 with a mere 4 HR and 9 RBI before straining his right groin.

To replace Barajas, the Phillies have called up relief-pitcher Clay Condrey from AAA. Condrey was designated for assignment, but has been repurchased by the Phillies.
