Dodgers Acquire Sweeney

The Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired 37-year old Mark Sweeney from the San Francisco Giants. Mark was hitting .256 with 2 HR and 10 RBI for the Giants before being traded to LA for either cash or a PTBNL. It's the first time the Dodgers and Giants have made a trade since 1985.

Grady Little is hoping that Sweeney can bring a good left-handed bat off the bench to face off against righties in tight situations.
