Cubs Win Claim for Podsednik


Looks like the Chicago Cubs have also won a claim on Chicago White Sox outfielder Scott Podsednik. Just as they must do with Shannon Stewart, the Cubs must make a trade for Pod in the next 48 hours.

Podsednik is having a horrible year in Chicago, only batting .262 with 1 HR 7 RBI and 7 SB. I'm hoping the Cubs only claimed Podsednik to block him from going elsewhere, as there is no reason why Scott would help this team.
