Boomer Almost Done?

SignOnSanDiego.com is reporting that Padres' veteran starter David Wells might be released as early as this week. "Boomer" is doing a horrible job over in San Diego, as seen yesterday on ESPN when he gave up 7 earned runs in one inning. On the season, Wells has compiled a 5-8 record with a 5.54 ERA and only a 63/33 K/BB ratio.
