Curt Schilling recently noted in one of his ramblings that he might want to sign with an up-and-coming team like the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He'd probably work well with the youthful pitchers coming up in Tampa Bay such as Scott Kazmir, James Shields, and Andy Sonnastine. The signing would raise the Devil-Rays salary by at least $10-$11M, something that they haven't handed out in the career of the team.
He has said, though, that he wants to sign with the team with the most chance of winning a World Series, and Tampa won't be in that kind of talks for at least another 2 years.
