Mussina Out / Kennedy In

Joe Torre announced that he will not start Mike Mussina this saturday, and rather bring up one of the Yankee's best pitching prospects in Ian Kennedy. Kennedy will be jumping all the way from Single-A, just as farmhand friend Joba Chamberlain has.

Kennedy was 6-1 with a 1.29 ERA in Single-A before being called up. He has been compared to Mike Mussina in terms of control and stuff, and features a knuckle-curve in his 5-pitch arsenal.
