Greene In White Soxs for '08?

The Chicago White Sox have been calling the San Diego Padres non-stop about acquiring Khalil Greene, even offering to put him in a deadline deal for Jermaine Dye. Now they might get their wish. The talks are now so high that the White Sox will move Jon Garland and Brian Anderson to San Diego for Khalil, Heath Bell, and a prospect or two. Both sides look pretty happy with this deal, most likely meaning one of the early offseason deals this year will be this one.
