It's no secret that the Los Angeles Dodgers are brewing amazing outfield talent in their minor leagues, and that has already showed this year. After signing center-fielder Juan Pierre to a huge deal last offseason, the Dodgers are playing a 3-man rotation of Luis Gonzalez, Matt Kemp, and Andre Ethier at the two corner spots.
After Gonzo grounded into a game-ended double play, it is now clear that by the end of the year Luis will be sitting on the bench watching Kemp and Ethier shine at their respectful spots. It also deletes any chance that the Dodgers will re-sign Luis at the end of the year, meaning he could be a decent pickup for a team looking for a doubles machine.
