The Deal in which outfielder Wily Mo Pena headed to Washington was actually a 3-team trade with both the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Boston Red Sox. Washington gave up reliever Emiliano Fruto to the Diamondbacks, the Diamondbacks sent first-basemen Chris Carter to Boston, and Boston of course sent Pena to the Nationals. Looks like a very even deal but what Wily Mo could do for the Nationals is just amazing. He's already hit 2 home-runs and had a 3-4 night.
