Yanks Designate Myers
The New York Yankees have designated veteran left-hander Mike Myers. Joe Torre said one of the main reason for this is that lefties were hitting .313 against Myers, who was mainly a lefty specialist. The move was also made because 34-year old Jim Brower of AAA is 4-1 with a 1.65 ERA in Triple-A. Will be interesting to see where the great Mike Myers will land, and he had a 2.66 ERA with the Yankees!
